Ongoing Development
01. Can I start a new Assessment?
To start a new assessment, you first need to CLOSE your open assessment. Once you close an assessment, it cannot be re-opened. After you close an assessment, you can still view your profile for that assessment, but no new feedback can be added.
There are two ways to close your open assessment:
- Manually close your assessment in the my Profile view
- Create a NEW ASSESSMENT in your dashboard, which automatically closes any open assessment.
We recommend starting a new assessment once you feel, based on feedback in your development loops or from other sources, that you have made a “breakthrough” in one or more areas and need to find your new baseline for future development.
To create a new assessment, click on NEW ASSESSMENT in your personal dashboard, complete a new self-reflection, and create new invitations to feedback providers. The BLA will automatically add all of your previously-invited ASSESSMENT feedback providers to a draft invitation list. You can remove them and/or add new feedback providers as needed.
You can create as many new assessments as you like, but you can only have one assessment open at a time.
❗Please note that if you have an open development loop, that development loop will remain open even after you start a new assessment, You will need to close this loop before creating any new development loop based on a new assessment.
